Bruschetta
Make sure to double, triple, etc. based on how much bread you use. Or just add ingredients to your liking. The key is lots of garlic and lots of cheese.
- 1 6" baguette, sliced
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1 teaspoon olive oil
- 1 medium tomato, diced
- 2 tablespoons onion, diced
- 1 tablespoon finely shredded basil leaves
- lots of fresh mozzarella slices (sometimes sold as "medallions")
Steps
- Combine the garlic and olive oil and spread over bread.
- Toast in oven until golden brown or to your liking.
- Throw on the cheese, then basil, then tomato and onion.
