Cocktail Sauce

This wonderful old recipe makes a lively dunking sauce for seafod. For a contemporary sauce, add finely chopped cilantro, red onions, green chili preppers, and/or lime juice.

  1. Stir together well in a small bowl:
    • 1/2 cut ketchup

    • 1/2 cup chili sauce

    • 1/4 cup finely grated horseradish

  2. Stir in:
    • Hot red pepper sauce to taste

    • Fresh lemon juice to taste

Serve at room temperature.

This will keep covered and refrigerated, for up to 1 week.
